A derogatory term generally used by self righteous people to describe anyone who partakes in recreational drug use. Usually the person doesn't have any friends who take drugs (or so they think) They buy into the stereotypes created by anti drugs campaigns when in reality, most drug users are functioning members of society with jobs an responsibilities. Overall people who use this word are just judgmental people trying to distract themselves from their own faults.
(True story)
Man 1: I hate Druggies. They are worthless dropouts who are a drain on society. They don't care about the people around them they are hurting through their actions. (finishes his fifth beer and grabs car keys) I'm going home.
Man 2: You're driving? You fucking hypocrite!
