Fried chicken, purchased from a fried chicken take-away store but not KFC. Very cheap, greasy, and tasty as hell. Ubiquitous in the UK, especially in lower socio-economic areas.
Dirt chicken stores often have names like 'Chicken Cottage', 'Texas Fried Chicken' or 'Southern Fried Chicken', and the colours and logo's of the signs may imitate KFC.
Can also be shortened to 'dirt'.
The term originated due to the perceived lower quality of the product compared to KFC (owing to the cheaper price), and because of the 'dirty' appearance of the stores in question. For this reason, 'dirt' may be applied to other take-away foods where the price is low and hygiene questionable, eg, 'dirt curry', 'dirt kebabs'.

Often synonymous with white trash whom live in a trailer surrounded by all of the various things associated with a trailer park i.e. broke down cars, broken appliances, dogs that have been on the chain so long they have worn a perfect circle in the dirt, children’s playpens, the broke stairs going up to the trailer, a total lack of any living plant life.
These people are often called so because of their resemblance to a chicken in a chicken coop picking at the dirt eating whatever they can find—often their own shit.
They can often be found kicking the hell out of their kids at walmart, spening all of their cash on scratch tickets and malt liquor, getting arrested on Cops, and cooking up meth in the back room. An extra rare sighting is one with all of their teeth.

Inhabitants of a trailer park, WalMart parking lot, or any other open space that may contain Mountain Dew and Natty Ice empties. They often congregate when emergency vehicles are present, as they are alerted ahead of time by listening to scanners.
