Diet Coke Theory

When someone makes a big deal about a small thing but ignores a bigger problem.

Imagine someone walks into a fast food place and says:
“I want the greasiest, saltiest, most calorie-dense meal you have. Give me all of it.”

Then at the end, they add:
“Oh, and a small Diet Coke. I’m on a diet.”

That is what the "Diet Coke Theory" means!
