Expression for when somebody did something equally dangerous, nonsensical and still believes it was the only right thing to do and understands this insane livethreatening action as a romantic action - as in the romantics in literature.
Person 1: "Last summer I hiked through the Amazonas and petted an aligator then I got stung by some weird insect and a bump kept growing. My Sister just popped it once I was back home and hundreds of little spiders sprung out of it, hihi."
Person2: "Well you really did a Lobmaier there buddy."
