Dear Starboy

A popular fan fiction in the Eddsworld fandom. A story of growth, love and loss. It is in a AU where Tord is a big extrovert that is much softer, and sweeter. Tom on the other hand, is a big introvert that acts like a lone wolf. Some younger people love it mainly on the story, and other older people despise it. For the story and the changing of the characters.
14: OHMYGOD DEAR STARBOY IS SO GOOD, IT MADE ME CRY
17: Ew that’s garbage, the story is a whole mess. Tom ,and Tord aren’t even like that.
14: Okay boomer

Dear Starboy

A horrible Eddsworld fanfic. It romanticizes suicide and abuse. It is about a pastel goth extrovert Tord and Emo Introverted Tom. It is known amongst the fandom for being horrible and the creator even deleted it, however it is reposted and loved by younger fans who dont see the problems in it.
Person 1: Hey remember that one eddsworld fanfic? the totally out of character one about tom and tord?

Person 2: Dear Starboy?

Person 1: Yea that one sucks.

Dear Starboy

A repulsive fanfiction that centers around the two characters, Tom and Tord, from the webseries Eddsworld. It takes place in an AU where Tord is a pastel uwu soft boy and Tom is a bitch introvert.

Other than the unsettling contrast from canon personalities, this book is a messy plethora of not taking suicide seriously, overdramatization and other unrealistic ideals. Tl;dr, it's shit. It barely even has any connection to Eddsworld itself.

Unfortunately, most of the Eddsworld fandom's young fans consider this story a masterpiece when they are being blinded by foolishness.
Dear starboy is so unrealistic, I don't see how many people even like it.

The word 'flag' as pronounced by people with thick Belfast accents. The term is a perfect encapsulation of the disproportionate and overblown reaction to the removal of the Union Jack (as in 'de fleg') from above City Hall in Belfast. Where previously it had flown for 365 days per year, it is now flown on 17 designated days of the year - in line with many other British cities.

The event caused a portion of the Protestant community ('fleggers') to make international pricks of themselves as they proceeded to wreck the fucking place, claiming it was another erosion of a 'British' identity they perceive to have been under attack since the horrifying spectre of equality reared its head in Northern Ireland.

The word 'fleg' - and indeed 'fleggers' - fittingly describes a section of humanity unconcerned with knowledge, reality or the vagaries of the English language. Like America's tea-baggers they are ruled by instinct, fear and paranoia with a side dish of rampant bigotry and startling ignorance of the world around them.
"Wat de fuck like! The taigs got de fleg took down! Let's wreck de fuckin place! No surrender!"

"De fleg has been took down! Before ye know it there'll be a united Ireland! Attack Short Strand! God Save The Queen!"

To take something small, that doesn't quite qualify as a theft. Probably from the Danish "skæv" or the Dutch "scheef", both of which are pronounced similarly, meaning "askew, or not quite right'. To change an item's ownership without permission, but only something small and of little worth.
"I skeefed an apple off the neighbor's tree." "I skeefed some chips outta your bag when you looked away." "Don't skeef my chair when I go to the bathroom."
