Usually clothes that are vintage ie. more than 20 years old, no longer available by a designer brand, out of stock, therefore, deadstock. An example of vintage deadstock can be gold label Levi’s for example. A deadstick landing, also called a dead-stick landing, is a type of forced landing when an aircraft loses all of its propulsive power and is forced to land. The "stick" refers to the traditional wooden propeller, which without power would just be a "dead stick".
