Culturolinguistic

This is when a word may be translated literally to mean something it doesn't mean because the language may recognise it but the culture doesn't
A culturolinguistic mistake is when a Chinese person translates the word holiday meaning a day of rest (假期 Jiaqi) into the Chinese word for festival (节日Jeiri) because traditionally and historically, Chinese only had days of rest on a festival and, in the past 99% of them wouldn't ever consider a holiday in the sense of travelling to another part of the world, or even the country for leisure
