Adj. Someone who is dim-witted, especially from New England. Short for "Half-Cognitive".
Half-Cogs are so incredibly stupid, they can only relate to other Half-Cogs for any form of reasoning.
Jim: "That guy over there has been trying to put his shoes on for like 15 minutes..."

Todd: "Dude, he's wearing sandals..."

Jim: "That's what I'm saying. He's a total Half-Cog!"

A COG terror is somebody who has bad centre of gravity (COG) from perhaps drunkenness or one leg being shorter than another. They pose a problem to other folk due to bad balance and to the fact that they may keep walloping into their acquaintance/friend.
John: God, Michael,do you remember last night at all?

Michael: Partly. Why?

John: Well when I walked you home in your drunk state, not only were you trying to make out with me but you were a total COG terror!

n., v., When someone excites your intellect with their acute and powerful knowledge and ability but does so over text so you can't fully engage in a conversation and explore a topic. Then, proceeds to never agree to have a phone conversation, voice chat, or meet over coffee leaving you cognitively in need.
Wow, Steve is texting me about material deposition and electron flow and I would love to have an efficient discussion and enjoy his company, oh crap, this huge cog tease just made me have an aneurysm.

Acceptance of many forms of Steampunk. Being open-minded and/or inclusive to the variations steampunk comes in.
Western Steampunk, Victorian steampunk, Edwardian steampunk, Steamfunk, WWI steampunk, and Eastern steampunk being welcomed at a convention are all examples of this.

Saying to someone, "that's not steampunk because it isn't brown, has no gears, (or whatever else you can think of)" is NOT cog acceptance.
