The way which many people write "Cæk", simply because it's hard to get the AE character whilst typing. Caek was a popular inside joke from the Encyclopaedia Britannica guys who published the first four volumes. The joke was so popular that the EB guys decided to write Encyclopaedia with the æ, vindicating their actions in that it was the correct Latin spelling. The work cæk was used often by the editors of EB, to describe an article that was submitted by less intellectual students and were obviously bullshit. It's a portmanetau of "crap" and "fake", with the ae for intellectual measure.
