Bhavnidh

It is derived from Bhavnidhi word in Sanskrit and Bhav -o nidh word from gurumukhi (punjabi).

Basically means Bhav sagar in hindi and Devout sea in English.

Some of the shlokas in Gurbani refers it as "bhav-o nidh paar utare", means some one who lets you towards God's path.
Sorth mehla fifth in Gurbani
angeekaar kee-o parabh apunay Bhavnidh paar utaaray.
Their God made them His own, and carried them across the terrifying world-ocean.
