With different degrees of severity, it may range from mild social disfunctions to complete lack of speach, comprehension, etc. Usually pair with this problem is often a very exceptional gift such as extraordinary math or memorization skills. Autism is a developmental disorder which happens while development. It is not a disorder that can be cured, or needs to be cured, as autistic people are completely ok!
Autistic people can be smart. Autistic people usually are introverted, and they dont like talking to others, and may hide in a secret spot that they like.

A developmental disorder that still has research going into it to due obvious lack of knowledge. Despite this symptoms are known and are vast and diverse ranging anywhere from slurred speech to sensitive hearing and even picky eating. It also ranges in severity to me (The cunt who is writing this) bareley registering on the spectrum who are high functioning but struggle with social skills and understanding social cues to people who are severley disabled and require assistance for most or all basic tasks.

Victims of autism suffer from severe mindblindness (complete lack of empathy) and often live in their own world.
A disorder where over 75% of those diagnosed today do not actually have it.
Those who actually suffer from the disorder want to be cured and are quite upset by the mass of fake autistics running around claiming otherwise.

I have severe autism. I began receiving SSI as a child, I attend Voc Rehab and will never be able to live on my own. I spent years in hospitals and institutions because of my autism.
