Algorithmic Identity

Algorithmic Identity is the flag in an algorithmic analysis that groups you and like-minded individuals to be targeted based on most, if not all, of your online activity. Derived from Social Identity Theory and Belongingness, your Algorithmic Identity is not unique and can be shifted and pulled into a direction to fall into specific groups to then be accurately advertised to your actual desires. There is not just one group you can be a part of but the groups you are in are numbered and targetable. Think of some range of Venn Diagrams for each person and most advertisements falling in the sections with the most overlap, to get more bang for their buck. This definitely has a name already.

abandonware

n. software that is no longer sold or supported by the original publisher / developer, often found as free downloads on the internet because it cannot be obtained elsewhere. Not legal, but often seen as morally acceptable because the company that made it is no longer selling the title, nor releasing it as freeware, therefore abandonware is "keeping the game alive", so to speak.

Doom II is not abandonware because id still sells it, while The Incredible Machine is not sold, therefore is abandonware.
