Alcubierrean Mechanics

A speculative framework extending the Alcubierre drive concept—a theoretical warp drive that contracts spacetime in front of a vessel and expands it behind—into a broader mechanics of spacetime manipulation. Alcubierrean Mechanics incorporates hypotheses about the underlying structure of spacetime, such as the Spacetime Foam Hypothesis (spacetime is not smooth but quantum‑foamy at Planck scales) and the Spacetime Fluidity Hypothesis (spacetime behaves like a superfluid under extreme conditions). The framework explores how spacetime might be engineered, how quantum fluctuations could be harnessed, and whether the “exotic matter” required for negative energy densities might exist in undiscovered forms. It’s the physics of warping reality, still speculative but grounded in general relativity and quantum field theory.
Example: “Alcubierrean Mechanics kept the warp‑drive dream alive, suggesting that if spacetime foam could be stabilized, the ‘negative energy’ problem might be solved—not tomorrow, but maybe in centuries.”

Noetherian-Alcubierrian Mechanics

A theoretical hypothesis that unifies Noether's theorem (which links symmetries to conservation laws) with the Alcubierre warp drive concept (which contracts spacetime ahead and expands it behind). It proposes that spacetime can be actively engineered at local scales—expanded, contracted, or otherwise deformed—allowing control over thermodynamics, conservation laws, and even the local behavior of physical laws. Essentially, it suggests that the "rules" of physics are not globally fixed but can be tweaked within bounded regions by manipulating spacetime geometry. This would permit effects like local violation of energy conservation, apparent faster‑than‑light travel, and the creation of isolated systems with their own bespoke physics.
Noetherian-Alcubierrian Mechanics Example: “His warp drive simulation used Noetherian‑Alcubierrian Mechanics to show that within the bubble, energy wasn't conserved because time symmetry was broken—the local laws were different.”

Alcubierrian Warp Mechanics

A specific branch of warp mechanics based on Miguel Alcubierre’s 1994 metric, which describes a spacetime “bubble” that contracts space in front of a vessel and expands it behind. Alcubierrian warp mechanics studies the properties of such bubbles: the required negative energy density, the horizon problem (no communication between inside and outside), the accumulation of Hawking radiation, and the feasibility of creating and controlling the bubble. It remains the most famous and most studied mathematical model for faster‑than‑light travel that respects general relativity (though it still requires exotic matter).
Example: “The team simulated an Alcubierrian warp bubble and found that the interior would be causally disconnected from the exterior—a problem Alcubierrian warp mechanics hasn’t yet solved.”

Breadhead

Someone who is addicted to obtaining money and building wealth. A money addict and fanatic. Breadheads often work more than one full-time job, and some even participate in illicit activities to "obtain the bread".
A breadhead is like a crackhead, but for money instead of crack.

Stink lines

As seen in illustrations or cartoons: Wavy, vertical lines rising above a person, place or thing. Denotes a foul odor.
"You didn't put enough stink lines on your picture of the teacher."

schmegegge

Yiddish slang word meaning bullshit, baloney, hogwash, nonsense, crock of shit or hot air.
I don't buy the schmegegge about Morty sleeping with Moira.
His version of the story was pure schmegegge.
The whole schmegegge was made up to get Liz a little bit of attention.

eye bleach

Looking or experiencing something nice after witnessing something horrid like a disgusting gif or a disturbing video. Typically used as eye bleach are nice images of whatever makes the disturbed person happy.
"Bleach my eyes! Why is that woman's face ripped off!?"
*Looks up images of puppies and kittens.*
"That's good eye bleach."
