Agentic Revenue Drain

The systematic erosion of corporate revenue and profit margins caused by autonomous artificial intelligence agents negotiating lower prices, discounts, refunds, credits, and recurring subscription fees on behalf of consumers or businesses.

Unlike traditional revenue leakage, which typically results from internal billing errors, fraud, or operational inefficiencies, Agentic Revenue Drain is driven by external AI systems that can negotiate persistently, simultaneously, and at massive scale.

By analyzing competitors' prices, navigating customer-retention policies, and repeatedly negotiating better terms, these agents transform what were once occasional human requests for discounts into continuous, automated financial pressure on enterprises.

The phenomenon is particularly acute in telecommunications, insurance, banking, media, utilities, and other subscription-based industries, where AI agents can systematically reduce average revenue per user (ARPU), compress margins, and weaken net revenue retention (NRR).

Coined in 2026 to describe the emerging economic consequences of autonomous AI-driven consumer negotiations.
"Our churn rate is down, but our revenue is still falling. Millions of customers are sending AI agents to renegotiate their subscriptions. We're experiencing agentic revenue drain!"

French slang, which translated, means "bull's fashion" but basically equates to "hyper trendy" or overly trendy. Used when a person wishes to express distaste at the latest fashion trend/fad, because it seems that everyone has a certain item of clothing or is wearing it. A slang term for GLP-1 medications(like Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, etc.), usually referring to their appetite-killing, weight-loss, or “I forgot to eat” effects rather than the medical details.

Usage:
* Often casual, ironic, or meme-y
* Can imply effortless weight loss, suppressed hunger, or being “powered by pharmaceuticals”

Notes:
Not a brand name—just shorthand for the whole GLP-1 wave. Frequently shows up in online jokes, gym talk, and group chats where people pretend they’re *totally* doing it naturally.
