it's a way to say what's up , when you're really stoned , like when you take the hit from the bong and your friend enters the room like"what uuup g?"
your friend enters : "hey what's up maboi?"
You(stoned) : "aduh?" (your head drops for a few mins )
your friend: "you okay g?"
You(stoned) : "yee,ye, wadup?"

Precedes or follows either a gratuitously disrespectful or honest remark, originated in New York City. Used in similar fashion to "no offense" or "to be honest," interchangeably.
