Adding a comment on a social media post (facebook, etc) about a controversial issue and turning off notifications so as not to get into a prolonged argument.

I disagree with your meme on gun control, immigration, taxes because........ I want to get into a nasty multi day long fight so I left these drive-by comments

the act of writing random sayings, words, or anything else irrelivant in the comment section of a video, forum, etc.
