An internet term made up as a reference to the Ruby Ridge standoff that is commonly used among firearm enthusiasts to jokingly infer that the A.T.F will be paying them a visit and suggesting to “hide your dog” in anticipation of their arrival.
“Wow I see you have a pretty nice stockpile of possibly illegal weapons there. You may want to hide your dog.”
