Smart-Arse-Tax

A Smart-Arse-Tax is a form of punishment imposed on smart-arses by taking money/ other items of value from friends, peers etc when they demonstrate their ability to be a smart-arse.

Calling someone a smart arse is intended to pull them down a peg or two for adopting a position of superiority, especially intellectual:

(1) through sarcasm,

(2) by using obscure knowledge to score points off other people, or

(3) just being too f**king smug when they're right about something.

Imposing a Smart-Arse-Tax, actually fines them for this behaviour, giving the recipient a sense of achievement and control.

arse fart

polite way of calling someone an idiot, jerk, stupid, or inappropriately mean or stupid without sinking down into the usage of obscenities. Taken from the term arse for backside or bum and the word fart the sound that comes out when a person passes gas. Basically telling someone their comments are full of hot air and just trite, mean or silly.

E: Look at that bird in the sky!
A: There's no bird in the sky why are talking like an arse fart again?

Guy 1: Look at Jenni over there talking about Anna again and throwing salt.
Guy2: Yep that Jenni she keeps on acting like an arse fart.

alternative for bum bag, a bag which one wears atop their buttocks, (secured by a belt-like device with a clip for attachment and detachment) while running, walking, etc.

in the television series, 'the nanny', yeta wears an 'arse sack' incorrectly, and wears it on the front, hence the name 'arse sack' or 'bum bag'

"hey, mum, have you got your arse sack on yet so we can get runnin'"
