Monday blues

When one has the Monday blues, it means they are tired and stressed to be back at work (or just be back to Monday in general). Everyone has a shared "ugh" state of being.

Do not ask me how I am. It is Monday. You KNOW I have the Monday blues.

Conneaut Blues

Similar to Depression, but manlier. When a re-enactor misses just hanging out with their friend, the general vibe and atmosphere at being at a re-enactment.

The reality of the “real world” hanging heavily over one’s head and wishing to be back in the field or in the camp surrounded by like minded individuals.

History: Derived from the Ohio town of Conneaut that hosts “D-Day Ohio”, a WWII Re-Enactment.

Person one: “Are they ok? They seem pretty distant recently…”

Person Two: “Yea, they’ll be alright, they’ve just got a case of the Conneaut Blues.”

Baby Blues

During a short period of time after childbirth, due to the changes in hormones in women's bodies during this complex time, many women may feel moody and depressed, but feeling like they should be happy because their baby is born. This is often defined as "the baby blues". It's like a more common, less severe, temporary post-partum depression.

Woman 1: "After all the time it took for me to finally get pregnant and all of the pain and discomfort I was put through for nine months, shouldn't I be happy that I finally have a baby? It kind of feels like I don't even want to be with him..."
Woman 2: "You're just having the baby blues. I promise to you in no time you'll feel way better. You should look up some information to see how it affects your brain and so that you see you're not alone in this."

The Bluey-weed Paradox

The paradox that results when one smokes or otherwise inhales cannabis then, as a full grown adult, proceeds to watch children shows all the while claiming it is an adult show, despite the show being designed for toddlers.
