Bob: "Oh look, its a full moon"
Jerry " Did you know that the diameter of the moon is roughly the same as the width of the United States?"
Bob "Thanks for chucking that nerd spear Jerry. You are such a geek."

Being out nerded by any other nerd of a higher caliber. Very popular with computer programmers discussing their first computers and who's game is cooler, magic the gathering or dungeons and dragons.
Nerd Served
Nerd 1: I started programing on a sinclair zx80 the first week they where released.
Nerd 2: So what I was programming on the altair 8800 when you where still wearing diapers.
Bystander: You just got nerd-served!

Term in High School when two nerds go out. Everyone is saying 'their sooooo cute', but are really looking at a seasoned Warhammer player with Dungeon Tan and a quiet girl with a backpack almost as high as her voice.
Two friends looking at nerds holding hands:
Girl says: awwwww soo cute, they make a great couple
Boy: Yeah, NERDS UNITED!!!!!!!!

The act of analyzing data in great detail. When you spend hours working on excel or other stats programs trying to 1) figure out data and 2) analyze it. This often occurs while in college, fantasy football, and in careers that focus on research and analysis. On big problems, Data Nerding can go on for days.
Damn, I may never figure out what quarterback to draft for fantasy football. Looks like it's time to pull out excel and get to data nerding so I can decide on who to pick.
