A type of computer monitor or TV that, although thin and light, has a shitty picture compared to the bulkier and heavier picture tube monitors and TVs.

Person 1: "I just paid 3 times the amount of money for my monitor as you did. I got one of those modern, cool thin LCDs."

Person 2: "Yes, but the text on that piece of shit is blurry, and colors that should look grey are blue or pink. That LCD monitor is crap."

Person 1: "Yes, but I look modern and up to date with my trendy monitor."

Person 2: "You are a dumb shit."

lc

Acronym for "Lunar Corporation", one of the three playable factions in "Earth 2150". Little is known about the LC. Appearantly they're a faction of religious women that are based on the moon. They team with the UCS against the ED but an ED hacker takes control of over 100,000 UCS units in a counter offensive against the LC. The LC's technologies are top-notch consisting of ultra sound wave "shock cannons" and supersonic weaponry used to crumble enemy units and structures. The LC even possesses the power to minpulate the weather and summon meteor showers on the enemy.

The LC are said to be a part of an ancient alien race that decided to help the Earth's people in escaping their horrible demise. After being attacked by the ED though, their focus of aid was primarily on the UCS.

Persons who play MMORPG games, who consider the back-story of the game a nuisance. Typically, the dialogue that fleshes out the story of said game is presented in one of two ways: Textual or Audible

LCLz'ers will frantically click-through, or Esc, the dialogue trees in order to meet the end result, typically an XP grant.

Starsailormoon: ((clicks on quest giver))

Princess Leia: Starsailormoon, you are our only ho..

Starsailormoon: ((hits Esc to break the dialogue tree))

Princess Leia: Will you help us in our time of need?

Starsailormoon: ((frantically clicks the Accept button))

Starsailormoon: ((pounds the Esc key))
