Young People (teenagers) influenced by Modern Day pop-culture of Hip-Hop and Gang Culture. The term does not exactly mean you are a "crip", rather indicating you are a modern "gangster".

mannequin mode

A state that is reached when one has run out of options. Usually takes place in a social situation when you cannot play possum and are forced to talk to somebody you do not want to speak to. Usually makes the victim appear as a "mannequin" in a completely frozen position.

Psycho Chico/a: Why was it when I went in to kiss you, you froze?

Normal Person: It's a defense mechanism, when I can't feign sleep or death I go into mannequin mode.

A state that occurs when you're hitting up a dude that you like but the conversation gets boring so you have no choice to activate your inner hoe because lord knows you need that dick

An example:
Guy: So did you like the new Fast and Furious?
Girl: Eh, it was ok ig...
Guy: Oh, ok.....
*HOE MODE ACTIVATED*
Girl: So, you planning anything later this week? Cause I've got a free schedule ;)
