Bar Martyr

A person, commonly found in a bar, who frequently engages the most clearly damaged individual in the room despite warnings or signs of any kind. This term was coined by Florida singer/songwriter Michael J Weiss in his song entitled "Bar Martyr." This song tells the story of a situation involving the original Bar Martyr and his attempt to get the attention of a clearly intoxicated and crazy individual.

A Bar Martyr would ignore all warnings and attempt to pick up the easiest prey in the bar simply because it's the path of least resistance. For this person to be a true Bar Martyr, the reasons and warnings not to do so MUST be overwhelming.

Marty Party

A Marty Party is an individual who likes to "get down with his/her bad self" and get crunk. Someone who "get's the party started" and listens to Snoop Dogg. Synomyns include but not limited to: The Party Train Conductor and Vanilla Funk.

Party goer #1:" Is that a rumble that I hear outside?"
Party goer #2: "I don't know, is that the Police?"
Party goer #1: "Yay, it's marty party, coming to the rescue!"

"I wish Marty Party was here, this party's IPOD shuffle is lame."

Marty

When my wife and kids were going out of town recently my daughter looked at me and said "You should have a Marty." I had no idea what she was talking about so I said, "What's a Marty" and she responded "a man party".

"That's awesome," I said.

I have never been more proud of my daughter.

"You guys THIS IS IT, my wife and kids are finally going on that overnight trip for her 3rd cousins graduation from middle school and I'm throwing a Marty."
