Typical Carreras Bullshit

Sometimes known simply as "TCB", this is a common phenomenon which occurs in Richmond, VA (and sometimes the Bay Area of CA). Similar to being Munsoned, it involves having unbelievably bad luck, typically caused by one's very hubris backfiring tremendously months after the fact, always in a "first world problems" manner. The typical minimum value of "Typical Carreras Bullshit" is $1,000 USD or "50+ Mark/Andy/Oliver hours", but this is the low end. Sometimes involving low-level "get rich quick" schemes of limited viability and profitability. Symptoms of Typical Carreras Bullshit can exacerbated by either 1) THC 2) Being Married or 3) having to be somewhere on time.

Example 1)

Person 1: Man, you look bummed, what happened?
Person 2: I just got a call that a car-sized piece of my ceiling caved in....2,600 miles away.
Person 1: Hah! Typical Carreras Bullshit!

Example 2)

Person 1: What's up, man? You look upset?
Person 2: A City I don't live in is suing me for the color of my house I painted 7 years ago.
Person 1: Poor bastard...sounds like some Typical Carreras Bullshit.

Example 3)

Person 1: How's the BMW treating you?
Person 2: My ex-wife stole it, and when it got returned to me, it got booted and I sold it for parts.
Person 1: Jeezus...you sure do enjoy some Typical Carreras Bullshit, don't you?
