Goat in the sheep skin

Refers to being a master of your craft, and having your own distinct style, but being in a state where you haven't shown the world your true ability.

This can also refer to people thinking that you are trash, and then showing them that you have talent.

A person (normally a farmer) is someone who tends to sheep’s coats and shaves them for wool. It comes from the term shag which refers to the sheep’s wool that hasn’t been shaved off.
