San Francisco, 1956 and Indiana 1976. There hasn't been a undefeated team since Indiana in 76 and that was the year that the ( dunk ) was allowed back into the game of college basketball. The dunk was bamnned from college basketball from 1967-76. This was the same period that the ABA ( American Basketball Association ) was in existance.The ABA was the home to Dr.J and David Thompson the 2 most explosive dunkers of the era. Thompson and N.C. State beat UCLA in the 1974 National Semi-Final 80-77 in 2OT.
