Bash Your Bacon

1) verb. To downplay, ignore, or insult one's opinion, methodology, or ideology, typically in jest.

2) noun. An individual who "bashes one's bacon." (Commonly referred to as a "Bacon Basher").

"I don't mean to bash your bacon, but..."

Sally: What do you want for dinner?
Jim: How about tacos?
Sally: Ooh.....I don't mean to bash your bacon, but I want burgers...

("Bash Your Bacon" is also often abbreviated as "byb")
