I've owned a waffle iron for years and use it at least twice a month, yet until recently I had never made nor been served a waffle that I thought was as good as it ought to be. I guess I always loved the idea of waffles more than I actually enjoyed eating them. To me, waffles were supposed to be light, airy, and, most of all, crisp. But by the time they got to my plate, they were always damp and limp. Trying to serve them to company was worse. Either everyone was served a decent waffle, one at a time, or everyone ate bad waffles all together. Why couldn't waffles—even when coated with syrup—stay light and crisp to the last bite?
After lots of recipe sampling, I realized the light, crisp waffle recipe I was looking for didn't exist in any cookbook I owned. If I wanted a really crisp waffle, I was going to have to develop it myself. Three days and a vat full of test batter later, I finally pulled my first perfect waffle from the iron.

A joke that most people don't get that's mostly used in purposes of baiting switch.
H Is A Number (or H-roll) first became a thing on August 13th, 2020 when some users had a general discussion on discord, some people were talking about age restrictions.
"Users under 13 cannot use discord" someone said.
Of course, people were joking about someone being underaged after that message. Another user replied with:
"Age is a number, not a problem"
And that's where the joke basically began...
Some hours later, a user by the name of "undR/H cancer not allowed" posted a morse code that once translated said this:
"H is a number, just got H-rolled"
(There's numerous ones but this one is the most well known message)
From then on, the joke "H is a number" is not just used to warn moderators that users under 13 are on their discord server, but it's also used for morse code conversations, ending with the phrase "H is a number" or "-H" as a joke at the end of the message. Of course it's not just used on discord only, since it's a meme, it can spread from person to person.

Home or House. Cop-speak or military jargon. Semi-coded reference to the officer's place of residence (usually radio traffic) so dispatcher knows where the officer is going, but people monitoring police-bands are unaware.
