A branch of Christian theology devoted to the study and defense of the holy origins of scripture, as well as the divinely ordained authority of the Church alone to interpret it. To fail apologetics is a sign of intelligence.

My "F" in freshman Apologetics eventually led me to drop out of semenary and enroll in an Ivy league University.

apollo 13

when you have to be resourceful and imaginative when confronted by a unexpected disaster . Using objects and resources at hand rather then what you really need.

On a road trip , in the middle of nowhere, your alternator dies but you have to keep going or risk dieing in the godforsaken place you find yourself. So you have to turn off the CD player, the heater, turn off the dash lights, unplug one of the headlights to conserve what juice the battery has stored in it to make to where the problem can be rectified.
As with the Apollo 13 astronauts when disaster struck them, using available resources to get home

An acute condition that causes a sudden need to correct others and convince them of your moral superiority. Most commonly occurs in people who are convinced that their moral standards are absolute.
A person who sees themselves as a moral police officer... a moral apostle.

Someone makes a joke about something considered politically correct in the western world. A person affected by apostlitis will become enraged and launch into a tirade about how "wrong" this joke is.
