Action

(verb, generic) To perform an action on something.

Often used in corporate speak to request that some other team or employee progress an issue, when it is not known what actually needs to be done. In layman's terms: "It's your problem now, do something about it."

American English equivalent of do the needful.

Steven: 'Michael! How the hell did you end up crashing your damn car last night?'
