Turngash

"Turngash". Definition: a Chicago-based phenomenon that occurs when one swipes their CTA Ventra card assuming it has worked when it hasn't. This is followed by walking into the turn-style with such speed, momentum, & hope only to be stopped short and results in a noticeable bar- shaped bruise across the thigh area...A turngash.

My stupid Ventra card didn't work again and now I can't wear shorts for a week due to my obvious turngash!
