A spoken or written request for someone's presence or participation that is intentionally lacking cardinal information such as the time and or location of the event and may even at times point to the wrong destination. Similar to invitation however its purpose is to rope in and misguide a stopa.

The device that seems to be in every traffic light that holds the light green until you get there, then immediately turns the traffic light red. It then holds the light red until someone else comes along from the other direction to set it off again.
