Schnable

Schnable,Schnabel- pron. (Shh-N'a'-Bull)- Of German Jewish origin. Has two meanings in Yiddish A) teller of tall tales and B) Heyy. In English it is describing a man with a horseshoe haircut, suffer from unusual panic attacks, a strongly stubborn individual, eats cereal in a bag with milk poured in it, smells funny or odd, works for free but complains to others that he's broke, claims to have killed a bear with his bare hands on a NJ highway (route 23 to be exact), Froze to death and was revived, stabbed in the heart and was supposd to die but didn't, frequently telling tall tales,often blurts out "HEYY" at any given moment, is thought to suffer from a manic mental disorder, is also rumored to have super powers. It is believed that his powers are : being able to panic on site, jump 3 1/2 feet high straight up in the air with arms totally motionless, shit on command, has a set number of lives (ex. 9 lives). It is also speculated that when he uses his powers he loses his hair.

Scrabble Smugness

noun. A special state of smugness experienced by a Scrabble player who is either winning or has recently had a very high-scoring word on the board.

Unlike normal smugness, Scrabble Smugness is notoriously difficult to hide and even statements such as "I was lucky that time" or "It's just the tiles" will do nothing to reassure the opponent(s) that there is no smugness.

Typically Scrabble Smugness will manifest itself as a peculiar grin, and is accompanied by feelings of superiority and an over-estimation of one's intelligence. In many cases, Scrabble Smugness will induce feelings of Scrabble Rage in the opponent(s).

Player 1: Damn it, you're always winning.

Player 2: (modestly) I was just lucky that time. It's the tiles really...

Player 3: Like fuck it is. And don't pretend to be coy - you have the worst case of Scrabble Smugness ever.

Schnable

Also known as Schneebs. One who greets you by saying "Hey" and laughs like a boy going through puberty. An individual with a horseshoe haircut, who works at Staples (often for free) and has panic attacks about how he can't find the pens which have been stolen. One performing the act of eating cereal from the bag (with milk) while on the sales floor. When someone builds a mountain of damaged products in the back of the store which people then name "Mt. Heymore". Some one who gets fired for not having a home and sleeping on sidewalks. When one sleeps in a laundry room and holds a membership at L.A. Fitness only to shower and store belongings. A person known to kill full sized bears on the highway in north New Jersey with his bare hands.

Will- Yo, I was walking down the highway and a bear jumped out of no where and I snapped its neck with my bare hands!

Smiffff- You pulled a Schneebs!

scurfy scramble

a game in which loose change is loudly rolled across a floor, often in a cafeteria or classroom, with the goal being to see who will dive for the penny or nickel you rolled. one who dives for loose change is identified as a scurf.

the 'scramble' aspect of it is most entertaining when multiple scurfs butt heads and wrestle for the meager coinage.

Any sentence, fragment or single word (real or not) that is needlessly loquacious, bombastically magniloquent, or just generally verbose for the sole purpose of scoring big points in some pretend game of Scrabble.

Also the act of enjoying (too much) the partaking of, creating or perpetuating the of such a phrase.
