They create fake momentum so big players can sell without tanking the price, leaving followers holding worthless positions like dumb livestock. They are most likely paid by the whales to help them maximize profit on their pump and dump schemes.

That is the third time this year you bought that stock and it tanked with in a few days, stop following that influencer he is just a liquidity sheep shepherd who is paid to ensure you are left holding the bag.
