When you bring something up with your friend and then coax them into wanting to hear it, but then they say never mind.

The Intergalactic Law states they must now tell you what they brought up under any circumstances.

Jimmy: Dude did you hear what happened at the party last night? But you can't tell anyone!
John: I won't!
Jimmy: Actually nevermind, can't tell you.
John: You have to now! Its The Intergalactic law!

dream interval

when you go to sleep and have a dream, wake up after about a minute, go right back to sleep, dream for a minute again, wake up again, wash, rinse, repeat. this cycle ends when either the dream finishes or you can't go back to sleep.

Quantum Bullshit Interval

The "Quantum Bullshit Interval" or "QBI" is the longest possible distance between two cars where you are still unable to turn/merge safely between them. The QBI only seems to manifest when you actually need to be somewhere on time, or when getting somewhere sooner would be a great convenience.

Were it not for the train of cars all locked at the Quantum Bullshit Interval, I would have made it to work on time.

Now that I can spot and point out the Quantum Bullshit Interval, my road rage has increased exponentially!
