"What's the temperature outside?" "Carrots." "The temperature has and never will be carrots. That's the most uneducated guess ever."

A tom guess is defined as a "slightly educated guess". However one cannot use the term "tom guess" unless he/she is referring to guessing on a particular question on a quiz or test/exam. Note, that a tom guess is not christmas tree or abacadaba. A tom guesser generally follows their conscious, in search for the correct answer".
Mike: psst, whats the answer to question 14?
Tom: I don't know, I "tom guessed" it.
Rex: sigh, another tom guess!
Robert: Rex, do you have a question?

something teachers, grown-ups, or coaches say when you got an answer SUPER wrong but they don't want to discourage you

A game played with the traditional board game "guess who" but with slightly different rules. The only difference is that all questions must be subjective in nature. There should be no way to be 100% sure if you are elimating the correct people or not. No one ever really wins, but it is really fun.
Sample questions:
"Is, or has your person ever been, a librarian?"
"Is your person racist?"
"Is your person a member of a wine-of-the-month club?"
"Does your person own multiple cats?"
Examples of questions not allowed in subjective guess who:
"Does your person have a mustache?"
"Does your person have long hair?"
