1. Coined by Steve, this is a term that refers to the mortal nemesis of Digital Multimedia Technology students, the dreaded Graphic Design student.

Graphi are generally pompous in nature, and extremely stuck up. They are characterized exclusively by extreme hotness. Nevertheless, their cruel nature deters boys from pursuing them romantically. They are merely eye candy.

They despise DMT students because the DMT students possess admittedly inferior drawing talent. Even if a DMT student makes no claim to be a better artist, the Graphi will still act like snobs, and shove their "I-art-better-than-thou" attitude into your face.

2. Anyone driving on the road after a Field Trip involving both DMT students and Graphi will appear to be a Graphy in the eyes of the DMT student. This is perhaps because the DMT student is paranoid after his/her whole world got flipped upside down.

B: That Graphy? Yeah, she's smokin', But what a bitch!

graphic novel

what hipsters, idiots, and the media use to attempt to sound high brow about reading/discussing comic books, but in reality is a term describing a specific format of comic book. that form being an over-sized self-contained single original story (as opposed to a typical single issue or collection of old single issues).

proper: hey, did you read the new Will Eisner graphic novel? you know the one that actually says graphic novel on it and everything?

improper: X-Men is my favorite graphic novel!

Graphic Design Degree

Useless. Unless, you want to work for a huge corporation. They usually take your degree into consideration because they have so many candidates. Other than that the degree is useless. You will learn much more by learning on your own online and freelancing. Furthermore, most of the classes you take in college will be very theoretical. You will not have a time to refine your useful technical and communication skills.

I went to state to get a Graphic Design Degree but I realized Ahmed is just as successful freelancing and learning on his own
