brigada

Brigada (Russian: Áðèãàäà), also known as Law of the Lawless, was a Russian crime miniseries which debuted in 2002. It became very popular and received great reviews. The miniseries follows the story of four best friends from 1989 to 2000, mainly concentrating on the leader of the group, Sasha Belov, played by Sergei Bezrukov. The fifteen part miniseries was written by Igor Porublyov and Aleksei Sidorov and was directed by Aleksei Sidorov.

The author of "Brigada" ,the original book wrote a series of sequel novels, which had Sasha start a new gang but it was met with lack luster reviews by critics who said there was no chemistry between Sasha and the new gang like there was between him, Pchela, Kosmos, and Fil. However the book is still considered an interesting read for whomever enjoyed the first part.

broad floater

Broad floater is a term that is used at a predominantly male gathering (watching a sports game, playing poker, etc.) where pizza is being ordered. Naturally, each male orders his own medium or large pizza with his choice of topping (usually meat-based) to prove his manliness to his peers. To satisfy the women and to avoid nagging equality/sexism comments, a couple of broad floaters are ordered. The typical broad floater includes feminine toppings such as feta cheese and spinach. Tip: Broads love whole wheat.

"Pass a slice of the broad floater and a Diet Decaf Pepsi to Jessica"

"Order three broad floaters today, we have a lot of broads."

"Tell her to stop trying to eat my pizza, the broad floater is across the room."

Flighty Broad

1. Flighty Broad: a female who is irresponsible, fickle, not sound of mind, slow, or frankly just rude and/or ignorant.

2. a woman who is unfaithful and/or sleeps around.
synonymous with: slut.

though can be used interchangeably with whore, a flighty broad is generally smarter and has more respect for herself and her body (should the term be used in the same context as "whore").
