Banshee Roulette

An unofficial mini-game in the co-op survival game, Phasmophobia. In Phasmophobia, there is a type of ghost called the "Banshee", and the developer gave it unique programming that randomly chooses a specific player as its target and doesnt change its target until it kills that player, even if a different player tries to touch the ghost during its hunt -- a non-target player will not get hurt. Thus, in Banshee Roulette, all players stay in the house to wait for the ghost to hunt and kill each player one by one until one is left standing and escapes the map, who is then deemed the "winner" of Banshee Roulette because the Banshee chose them last as its target. Banshee Roulette in Phasmophobia is popularized by some livestreamers.

Only women can go banshee, as the phrase is based on the female spirit in Irish mythology that has a high-pitched scream/wail. Banshees are said to wail around a house if someone inside is about to die.
