Apathy is the emotion — (and attitude) of not caring, lacking indifference, motivation or concern to something. This emotional state is considered to be negative and often associated with the feelings of pessimism and depression. Apathy can also be used as a coping mechanism for emotional burnout.

Jessie: "I've been feeling a lot of apathy lately. I know I'm not usually like this, but I feel really drained. At this point, I'm just forcing myself to work. There's too much pressure on the group project I've been working on." He uttered, sighing.
Mrs. Haze: "Thank you for being honest. If you'd like, you can take a break and treat yourself with self care." She looked at him, expressing concern in her eyes.
Jessie: "I'll try... but I'm not really used to people telling me that. I've done more than half of the project whereas my peers only done less 10 percent."
Mrs. Haze. "I'm so sorry. I'm going to remove you from the group and let you work with Ellie. She also has done a lot for her.. past group. If you're stuck or anything I'll be here to help both of you." Mrs. Haze grinned, knowing that they both secretly had a crush on each other.

The disgusting, oozing socio-moral problem at the core of various published Urban Dictionary
definitions. The same problem found in
comments sections on various social media
platforms and community websites (i.e.
YouTube, Redditt, Quora).
Additionally, heavily found on personal or social media creator postings on social media platforms (i.e. TikTok, Facebook, X, TruthSocial, Instagram). Lastly, found dangerously in predatory types on some social media platforms (i.e. Snapchat).
In the end, these facts make these websites' and domains' existence possibly necessary to allow for statistical analysis of it's user population in universities for research in the social sciences. Existence could also prove a valuable (or potentially dangerous) tool for moral theologians teaching or studying at the high school level.

Get the Apathymug. Racial apathy is a form of emotional neglect toward Black, Indigenous, and people of color rooted in the biased belief that we do not feel pain. When people are viewed as "less human", it becomes easier to neglect their pain.
