A beloved person, be they family member, friend, or lover/life partner.

Somebody who is very dear, sweet, and kind.

Why should we be branded with a label because of our sexuality? We're lovers, sweethearts. "Sweethearts" was what we used among ourselves before "lesbian", "homosexuality", "queer", and "gay" really entered the picture. We didn't name it, we did it.

Sweetcakes

Meaning that something is sweet and cool or nice at the same time. It's like getting a free lunch. Usually used as a response and token of appreciation.

Can be used as a verb: Sweetcaking, having about the same meaning as chilling. Taking it easy.

Etymology:

It doesn't make sense for the native speaker, but it's somewhat influenced by me and my swedish friends native language.

-"You know what, she actually asked for you cell-number?"
-"Oh, sweetcakes!"

-"Look here in the manual, it describes how you configure it."
-"Ah, sweetcakes."

"-Man, I was sweetcaking all day long so I missed the show."

-"What about hang around today, just sweetcaking...?"

Sweeter Mans

A group of males aged 17-19 that specialize in dropping tracks, reaching jams, fucking bitches, getting money, unlocking achievements, and not flopping. This group originated in an urban school located in Toronto, Ontario. A typical weekend in the life of the sweeter mans is: reaching a jam on friday, playing Halo Reach/Call Of Duty on Saturday while crashing at Lam's house, and sleeping at Shayan's house on Sunday.

Sweetart

Though most will know this as the rounded tangy candy treat with the "Taste the zing!" motto...it is also the skater name of a member of the Lilac City Rollergirls- Spokane, Washington's all-female flat track roller derby league! She picked the name because it's dichotomous nature paralleled her own life long quest to balance her own good v. evil fight.

As used in the sentence "Sweetart! Hit that jammer!"
