It is a viscous green slime which contains large amounts of protein and other nutrients that the Strogg require, which is processed from the corpses of their victims and former allies.
No body knows what effect it would have during human consumption, & nobody knows what this green mixture would taste like... many think it would just taste like orange juice.
some also belive it can be used as a sexual enhancement drug if it existed Irl
