a colloquiaism from Liverpol that replaces 'very' or 'really'. It has evolved from Liverpudlians using the slang term 'pure' to mean the same thing, it then morphed to become pyar and then pyay.

A gripe or complaint usually uttered by an adult when he or she has not gotten his or her way. The state of self-inflicted dissatisfaction with one's own life, commonly communicated to anyone with a willing ear.

Origin: The sound a southern infant cries when he or she is dissatisfied.

Chuck: Rihanna hasn't spoken to me since I accepted the marketing job in the Cayman Islands.

Judy: No worries, Rihanna has the Pyangh Pyanghs because she's stuck living in her hometown.
