the handphone lock away rule is by far the most overruled one ever. not to mention the threat of getting detention for everything.
every student would have taken boomerangs at the mirror near the central staircase or the one near the staffroom
the toilets are sub-par. there will never be tissue in any toilet and the mirrors were probably found in some HDB flat's rubbish chute.
the school might look like one of the best in pasir ris but the PSLE cut-off point decreases year by year.
but all in all a good school!

Get the Merican mug.Unlike another definition of Meriden, it’s actually a pretty good school. So some people think that the students wear extremely short skirts, but they are forced to wear skirts that go up to their knees. Sometimes longer. And when they do wear skirts, they have to wear stockings as well, so the other ‘definition’ is an obvious lie. There are girls who simp for boys they meet but those are usually in the younger grades. Meriden performs well in academics, being one of the tome twenty schools in Sydney for many years. The teachers are extremely strict about school uniform policies, so when there is a violation, the student is given a demerit or detention.
