central district

Despite the gentrification, many locals still refer to the Central District as a predominantly African-American area. One possible reason for this is that despite the decline in the African-American population, Blacks still have a large presence in the neighborhood. The neighborhood has the highest concentration of blacks in the state of Washington and is still home to a variety of African-American culture including several gospel churches.

During the early 1960s, the neighborhood was a hotbed for the Seattle civil rights movement. In 1963, civil rights protesters took to the streets and protested against racial discrimination. Later, they participated in a sit-in in downtown Seattle. At the same time, the Black Panthers used the neighborhood as a staging area for their movement.

The Central District has long been known to have a high crime rate. In the 1980s and 90s, the neighborhood struggled with gang violence, most noticeably with the infamous West Coast Crips and Bloods in a similar way to Tacoma's Hilltop Neighborhood. This has declined significantly in recent years. Crime statistics have changed drastically in the last decade, with general crime in the neighborhood higher than some Seattle neighborhoods, but by no means the highest.

Famous residents of the neighborhood include Jimi Hendrix and Quincy Jones. Both attended Garfield High School, possibly Seattle's most well known school. Sir Mix-a-Lot also hails from the Central District and has a number of songs that acknowledge street names and important areas.

Brentsville District High School

Brentsville High school is full of country white boys. Nothing good comes out of the school. Its called the most racist school of Prince William County.......in reality they aren't wrong. Not to mention they are homophobic but that's okay. There are little to none good looking girls at the school and the guys are not any better. The only thing that is going for the school is the football team but that's probably gonna go downhill in the next years.

Hazleton Area School District, commonly abbreviated to HASD, is the largest school district in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Most of these girls are of this see: teenage girl

The students here are practically pure idiots, as stereotyped by TV, which is sad but true. You have the typical cliques:
Jocks: The jerkoffs who think they're good at the sport they play, but aren't. They talk about NFL and other shit that nobody cares about. Also, you can't express your opinion about how bad they are because most of them are internet tough guys and talk shit behind everyone's back, including some of their teammates.
Emos: Although suprisingly small in number, emos at HASD are typically terrifying to look at due to the 50 pounds of makeup they wear on their face. Most of them are white and girls, who pretend to be lesbians but are just doing that shit for attention because mommy and daddy don't show them love.
Gangstas: See dumbass Most of them are indeed straight off the banana boat from the "DR" and no speak the english. They boast about how nice their home country is (which it isn't) and they go back there for the whole summer when the school year ends, go figure. They act like a typical hardass and always want to start a fight.
If you consider moving here and attending, don't. Hazleton Area School District will either make or break you.
