DeLaSalle High School

Dominantly White bitches who are stressed 99.99% of the time over “personal issues” and lack of friends. They disguise work service by telling the parents that work service is really easy and it’s basically free money when I’m reality it’s child labor. The pizza’s good but the grease causes obesity. The basketball and volleyball teams are good, everyone else is either garbage or mediocre. Most of the White boys are walking villagers of cultural appropriation.
Person 1: What school do you go to?
Person 2: I got to Delasalle High School.
Person 3: That’s cold.

Delusion

A false belief which cannot be explained by cultural norms and that the patient often holds strongly. There are many forms, two of which are grandiose (e.g., the belief that one is God) and persecutory (e.g., thinking that aliens are trying to kill him or her). Delusions are a form of psychosis which often occur in the course of a severe mental disorder, such as schizophrenia or bipolar disorder.
The belief that aliens reside in one's nose is a delusion.

Debussy

Claude Achille Debussy

Don't compare to Ravel. Debussy's melodies (or motifs) are superior to most highly influential composers. The reason music took a plunge after Debussy is because no one could do what he had done, and so the contemporary era begun with great rancor and imparity.

Most popular works are "Prelude a l'apres-midi d'un faune", "Claire de lune," "Jeux de vagues" from La Mer, "Arabesque No. 1," "Reverie," and "La Fille aux cheveux de lin."
Claude Debussy is single-handedly the greatest composer of his time.

Delusional Aficionado Syndrome

Not a real disease able to be diagnosed, DAS (Delusional Aficionado Syndrome) is a sophisticated medical slang term used to describe the state of mind of wanting to only speak well about something or someone a person is suddenly or has been obsessed with for a long time.

For example, in the case of a musician, the aficionado might hear one song he becomes entirely enamored with it and slips into a state of thinking that this artist is the best to have ever existed. The aficionado will then deal with this state of new found love by purchasing all the albums by the artist and recommending them to everyone he knows. In its highest severity, the afflicted aficionado will constantly talk about the artist and/or song even to the point of trespassing into other people’s conversations in order to spread the word about the music. The aficionado will become enraged (rarely to the point of violence) if he hears someone else say anything negative about his idol. If any negative telecasts enter the television/radio airwaves or the internet concerning the musician (especially his death), the aficionado will enter a massive state of denial.

The aficionado may or may not be aware of his DAS. It depends on the severity of the delusional behavior.

Wisconsin Dells

A small tourist town in Wisconsin where aliens invaded and blew up the White House, leaving it upside down in the middle of the city. The aliens then took the form of thousands of Eastern Europeans and began exploiting visitors with water parks and "adventure" golfing. Also, home to the hottest club in the Dells, Marley's.
Man I just got back from Wisconsin Dells, it's a good thing I wasn't body snatched and given a Polish accent.

NOTE TO EDITOR: This is not an "inside" joke...anyone who has visited WI Dells would know.

Delusional Dave

Delusional Dave: A person that does not take hints of dislike, but in turn takes them as flirtatious motives.

Started by several redditors.
Amy: Frank was being such a delusional Dave today. I told him I wasn't interested, he thought I was playing hard to get and walked me to my car.

Julie: Oh my god, I told frank to lay off, he pulled a delusional Dave and said "She just wants me to prove my love"

The Big Delusion

The set of beliefs of the Americans in 2020 who follow Hate Media. The Big Delusion is the result of 3 decades of Rush Limbaugh and others on conservative radio, 25 years of Fox News, a decade of hateful social media and the rise of an immoral political party dominated by Donald Trump. These beliefs include thinking the 2020 presidential election was stolen, the Coronavirus pandemic was a hoax or at least dishonestly overblown, that Democrats are inherently bad people who want communism, the mainstream media is corrupt and dishonest, that darker-skinned people are unsafe and inferior and that their like-minded community, and all that they stand for, is under assault.
After years of trying to talk sense into Gil, I've concluded he is an unsalvageable victim of the Big Delusion. I knew he was on the road to crazy when he was consuming so much Rush Limbaugh in the 1990's, but there wasn't much I could do about it then, and nothing I can do about it now. A mind ruined. It's so sad.
