Basil Brush

Fox puppet which became a household name after the Basil Brush Show was launched in the late 60s. Famous for his trademark laugh, which is probably one of the most irritating sounds known to man.
The show has recently returned, but with a new puppet and voice.

The new Basil is infinitely more fat and camp.

"Basil Brush. He goes 'HA HA HA BOOM BOOM.'"

"Basil Brush? Who the fox hat?"

A big prehistoric sausage whale that lived in the oceans and did whatever a sausage whale does. Some people make it look like a sea serpent tho. A sea snek. But it was a whale. A whale shaped like a sausage, a sausage whale.

To make unjust retaliatory threats to sue a blogger for libel for having properly fisked (q.v.) something which one has written.

The word is derived from a combination of the first (Basil) and last (Loftus) name of a newspaper columnist who has threatened to sue a blogger for properly fisking some of the former's pronouncements. The original case has caused quite a stir in the Catholic blogosphere as both columnist and blogger are retired Catholic clerics. Googling his name will get you 63,000+ hits.

He basiloftussed the blogger for pointing out his errors.

Basilina is a name, normally used for a bird. (cockatiel)

It means they are Fun, Crazy and Free-Spirited.

They are really fun to be around, energetic yet they do tend to have a nervous side around strangers they dont know. They are also a total klutz.
