A extreme try hard, athlete and mathlete. At first you might think they are awkward but as you get to know them they are pretty social but never really try to be at the middle of everything unless there is competition involved.

Person 1: Wow, did you see that try hard in gym today?
Person 2: Yea, that was Bob he’s actually kind of nice once you get to know him.

Somebody who would sell drinks at a basketball court to try to make some cheap cash. He has no friends so he tells people that he does. He would be the one to be caught on camera from trying to lure kids in his car. When he plays he has a horrible jump shot.

Bobs

Inner city Welsh and British expression for the Police. Typically it refers to undercover officers, however. It is very likely a derivation from "Bobbies."

Often this expression is used as a codeword for an investigator at a party or club, as saying "watch out for Bob" is much less conspicuous than saying "watch out for the police."

"Out the back! Shit! There's a pair of buggered Bobs hear."

I heard Kate got arrested last night. A Bob caught her dealing.
