A term used to describe a “zit” or pimple on your face that really stands out, like the brightest star in the sky, hence “ the north star”. The term was used ina commercial for acne cream.

And there it was on the end of her nose: “ the north star!”

The Law of Stars

All technologies featured in both Star Wars & Star Trek will eventually come to be.

3D is not perfect and still a bit of a gimmick but life is 3D and the law of stars says that ultimately " virtual reality" (games, movies, work stations...) will be 3D and include all the full other senses. Star Wars had R2D2's Princess Leia projection or the Holodeck from Star Trek.
