99% Joke

A surprisingly common scenario in which you present your friend with a proposal that if turned down remains a joke but if in the 1% chance it is accepted, is no longer a joke and you are serious about it.

A joke that is not at all funny and usually contains a reference to inside jokes shared only among his/her family or references to biblical figures.

Batter: Toss me a seed (pitch to hit)

Pitcher: Yeah, if he throws you a seed, a bird will fly across the plate and Drew will hit the bird with the bat HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH.

Catcher: That was a complete Fish joke.
